Time for a road trip and we are off to see Diane, Pat, Hannah, and Lisa.\u00a0\u00a0 we are off like a shot!<\/p>\n

It’s about 450 miles from our home to Saratoga.\u00a0 We departed at 9:50 AM and arrived there at 6:15 PM as we hit a lot of traffic.\u00a0 None of the traffic was in LA!<\/p>\n

We only took a few pictures as we have done this trip so many time.\u00a0 See pictures<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Six hours plus stops including lunch at Andersen’s Split Pea Soup! (Click for the pictures)<\/p><\/div>\n

We love Andersen’s but even it was busy today.\u00a0 Maybe it was due to Christmas being on Sunday?\u00a0 At Andersen’s there was a line for restaurant seating but Sue decided we would sit at the counter… A stroke of brilliance!\u00a0 We walked right in, sat right down, we were served immediately and the counter turned out to be very comfortable plus a lot quieter than the booth area!<\/p>\n

The traffic was not heavy but constant for the rest of the trip!\u00a0 We stopped several times at the rest stops to stretch our legs.\u00a0 We arrived at Diane’s at 6:15.<\/p>\n

We had a good visit with the Porter’s.\u00a0 Both Hannah and Lisa were there and the house was full of doggle-barks (doggies).\u00a0 We stayed up until past 11:00 PM sharing and visiting.<\/p>\n

Saratoga is cold… It got to 33 degrees that evening so we snuggled and shared the heat!<\/p>\n
