We were officially retired 3,000 days!\u00a0 We keep track of it on our front page!<\/a><\/strong> Paul worked in the garden tending the veggies while Sue worked magic in the kitchen.\u00a0 She made French onion soup using our own onions and cooked squash.\u00a0 While outside, Paul discovered a bunch of green beans that were “too big to eat” so we asked the internet what to do about that!\u00a0 We found out that the beans can be taken out of their pods and boiled until soft and then sautee’ them with some onions, garlic, olive oils.\u00a0 In the South they call it “shellies”.\u00a0 We tried it and it was delicious!\u00a0 Never again will Paul worry about not getting outside in time to pick!<\/p>\n

We then got ready for a trip to Malarkeys to meet up with Irene and Greg!<\/p>\n
