Today’s extra special: my partner and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary and our three-day retirement anniversary\u2014yes, we’re basically retired legends at this point. To commemorate this major milestone in professional lounging, we’re heading to the theater to see “A Dancer’s Life,” the story of Chita Rivera\u2026 because if anyone understands graceful movement, it’s us\u2014gliding from the couch to the kitchen like it’s a Broadway number.<\/p>\n

The show was terrific, and we were both impressed by Chita Rivera’s performance.\u00a0 She is an American actress, dancer, and singer widely recognized for her work in musical theater.\u00a0 In December 2002, she became the first Hispanic woman and Latino American to receive a Kennedy Center Honors award.\u00a0 She was also awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2009.<\/p>\n
