We had a pretty relaxing day.\u00a0 We saw Les Miserables at the OC Performing Arts Center and it was great!\u00a0 The sets fanastic and the singing and live music was just outstanding.<\/p>\n

Les Mis\u00e9rables (a 1862 French novel by author Victor Hugo) is widely considered one of the greatest novels of the nineteenth century. The title is variously translated from the French as The Miserable, The Wretched, The Poor Ones, The Wretched Poor, or The Victims. Beginning in 1815 and culminating in the 1832 June Rebellion, the novel follows the lives and interactions of several characters, focusing on the struggles of ex-convict Jean Valjean and his experience of redemption.<\/p>\n

Examining the nature of law and grace, the novel elaborates upon the history of France, architecture of Paris, politics, moral philosophy, antimonarchism, justice, religion, and the types and nature of romantic and familial love. The story is historical fiction because it contains factual and historic events.<\/p>\n

On the way home to visit Flower, we stopped and visited with Bunnaford and grandson!\u00a0 Laughs, flatbreads, and giggles…. Life is good!<\/p>\n

Afterwords, we headed for the Garden Grove Elks for a night of dancing to “country music”.\u00a0 We danced the Texas Two Step all evening!\u00a0 Loads of fun!\u00a0 We finally gave out about 10:30p, and headed for home.<\/p>\n

The band was pretty good although the beat was very country!<\/p><\/div>\n

We had a delightful evening with good friends<\/p><\/div>\n
